| www.myplaceinsicily.com is a Website owned and run by Luca Schillaci, featuring three holiday homes in Sicily, belonging to his family. There are no intermediaries between us and our guests: our holiday homes are maintained directly by family members, who still use them for themselves and also let them for rent to other families or groups of friends who want to visit the east of Sicily. Luca is in charge of making contacts with guests, organize their arrival and departure and make sure that everything is Ok during their stay. Our holiday homes are generally let on a weekly basis. In Winter, it is also possible to stay for longer periods at reduced rates. We offer self-catering accommodation: we do not provide meals or daily room service. If you want to stay in this area for just a couple of days, we suggest that you stay at a hotel or a bed and breakfast. If instead you are planning to stay for one week or more and you do not like the idea of a hotel, our houses in Sicily could be your place too: you can cook your own meals, keep your own habits as if at home or learn about local ones from us or from our friends. Luca is a professional guide working as a freelance in the east of Sicily. If you are interested in having a Sicilian showing you around while you are here, this is offered to you at special rates if you are staying at one of our holiday homes. |
